68th District Court Record Checks
There is a charge of $15 for record checks if its done through the 68th District Court office.
Record checks are currently free if done on-line thru our on-line record check page:
During system backup 8:30PM thru 10:00PM (approximate) record checks cannot be done.
Records for the 68th District Court cover the City of Flint only.
Records outside of the City of Flint, but within confines of Genesee County are located at the 67th District Court.
Most individuals need a statewide record check, which you can have done through the MICHIGAN STATE POLICE ICHAT/Record Search Page The charge is approximately $10.00 and you must use a credit card.

Felony Cases are started at the District Court level and transfered to Circuit Court if there is enought evidence. On the register of action it may show BOCC (bind over to Circit Court).
On traffic/criminal type cases there are benchwarrant fees in $50.00 incuments; so if a case is showing $50 that is not the total fines and costs only the benchwarrant fees. An indivudal will still need to have the fines and costs assessed.
There are also $45 Secretary of State Clearance fees which may be the only fees showing. This is not the total fines and costs. The indiviudal needs to have the fines set.
